ECTARC is a government approved provider of traineeships and apprenticeships and has been successfully delivering training to students in rural, remote and metropolitan early childhood services throughout NSW and QLD since 1988. ECTARC commenced the training of trainees in the ACT in 2014. Thousands of students have gained their qualification and then stayed with ECTARC to gain their early childhood Diploma. ECTARC enjoys ongoing relationships with the owners, management and staff of early childhood services as they continue to give employment and career opportunities to new trainees each year. In NSW and the ACT, ECTARC delivers the Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma traineeships via distance study, complimented with face to face sign up and contact support visits at the service. In Queensland, ECTARC delivers the Certificate III and Diploma traineeships and apprenticeships training via face to face workplace visits. ECTARC has many high school students studying the CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while they are working towards their secondary school certificate. Traineeships and apprenticeships are a great way to commence training for a vocational qualification and earn a way while completing the senior secondary certificate. The online webinar workshops have proved so popular that we are constantly adding new topics to our calendar. If you do not find an online or face to face workshops that meets your needs, ECTARC can customise a workshop to present it to your staff at your service or preferred location. Many services join with other services in their area to hold professional development training. ECTARC is now offering live online webinar workshops to services. Ideal for rural and remote services when travel costs can sometimes limit professional development opportunities. ECTARC is well known for providing a high level of student support. Every ECTARC student is allocated a personal Training Officer to support them throughout their studies. Students will be able to correspond with their personal Training Officer by telephone and email. ECTARC also has a team of Training Officers to speak with at all times during office hours and on Tuesday evening phone support nights. Students also have the option to participate in live interactive online study sessions or view pre-recorded study sessions, unit snapshots, and the FAQ information page for additional learning resources. The ECTARC online student forum is also an excellent way for students to connect and learn.
